Decorative Broadcasts for Concrete Flooring

Broad Systems involve the coating of a concrete surface and the “broadcasting” of an additional material into the floor while the base coat is wet. This material can include crushed quartz aggregate, silica sand, vinyl colour chips or a number of other materials. The process of broadcast and rejection involves a number of steps that will result in a uniform, even finish that adds a decorative element to any standard coating. The broadcast system can be used with a variety of coating materials including, epoxy, polyurethane and polyaspartic. The type of coating and broadcast material will be determined by the environment, desired finished look and the suitability for a specific application. Most common applications include, institutional environments – hospitals, schools, government buildings, residential garages, showrooms, retail and restaurant floors, offices, and other small industrial environments.
